Fair enough. I didnt know about the gt40 in the pipeline. Ill take a look at that, the gt40 was always a sexy car.

I get what your saying about general lack of interest these days if the races them selves, but everybody loves the look of the cars, i know i do.

Actually it was 4 issues, market tests are generally 3-5.

Aahh ok, it just shows 1 issue on the website. Maybe just not updated with it bieng a test run. Its a shame many test runs fail, ill be honest, i never even hear about them. If more was done to advertise maybe more would get off the ground? But its a balancing act i suppose, nobody want to put loads of cash into advertising something that is not going to go to full run

Oh wow! I never realised that. Ive never really known much about the product/market testing amd pre release side of things. Im usually only aware when something is fully released and marketed. How do people find out about market tests in the 1st place?

Aahh ok. Ive never seen any in areas i have lived, so that may be why. They always seem to be down south. I wonder if fhey ever get it wrong? Ie drop a trial in an area where nobody around that area is really interested i the particular subject, giving the companies a false meter? I understand using small areas to keep costs down etc. I can imagine it been very hard to get these things off the ground. Especially the associated stigma partworks have always had over the years.

Ive always had an interest with partworks evet since the late 80s as a child. My grandparents started me with a hachette production called 'how my body works' when i was 6. you built essentially a full human with removeable organs, a skeleton etc. It was recently re launched and modernised iirc. The one i did was more realistic, but the modern one was a lot more cartoon like in apperance. Then i moved on to treasures of the earth collecting hundreds of gemstones and minerals. All that got my imterest on watching documentaries on tv which i still enjoy now. Ive done the real robots from eaglemoss (i think it was them) you built an ai robot with sonar sensors light sensors and allsorts, the solar syatem orrerey when it was 1st launched, not the current re launch they have now. Then i moved to an electric rc subaru wrc, nitro momster truck. Then recently obviously r2 which im thoroughly enjoying (despite my odd hiccups) and redbull rb7, which is waiting to be finished when i get around to painting the shell.

So yeah, im just starting to think what i would like to do/see next. I enjoy rc stuff, and things that are a bit more complicated to do. Would like to do the falcon, but its just too big for my house atm. I think de agostini have the best in terms of models and things. Some of the ships look stunning, but i know i just dont have the skills or knowhow to do them justice, and i would end up making a mess of the intricate details. I also prefer these kits from partworks, mainly due to the ease, accuracy, the fact that a lot of stuff is pre finished too is great. You dont just got a little plastic thing, you get a fully interactive scale model etc.
