If you mean the big 1/8 kit, the panels all fit very well. The only part to take extreme care with is when fitting the front engine bay firewall/bulkhead.
It absolutely MUST go down into the floor pan as far as possible. Even a fraction too high, and you'll end up with a gap where the body meets the floor just ahead of the doors when you fit it later on. That will also cause big gaps around the front end of the doors.
Also, the join line at that point really wants filling as does the join just behind the doors.
Real E Types have no such join line and they are quite noticeable.
There are several parts missing - there's no rad fan, no under bonnet detail - meaning the air and splash panels inside the actual bonnet. Interior is missing a few trim panels at the back and the seats have no backs to them - they are hollow! The chrome headlamp bezels are WAY too wide and hefty. They look more like oval 'Polo's'. Thin them down - a lot!
The exhaust fixing point at the rear is flimsy - make something sturdier from wire.
Overall though, it's a very good kit considering the age. Ton's of room for mods and upgrades.
Glue - good old poly cement. Just be careful.
Roy.

I've got several of these kits stashed away for future chopping and changing. It was re-released by Revell about 3 years ago and I bought 3 of them. At present they are hens-teeth again so if/when one appears, grab it. Don't go potty though. I've seen numpties pay upward of £200 to get one and a week later there's another on Ebay for £75 'buy it now'. Revell should just put it back in their permanent catalogue. I'm 3/4 of the way through developing a roadster and hard top conversion kit but it's on the back burner for now as the Revell kit isn't about enough to warrant the work and cost. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

I might get back to it at some stage but with the actual Revell kit now being 'hens teeth' there's little point.
