Am I going mad Confused
In issue 38, it shows putting the screw blanking plugs in all but the 2 in the middle of the recessed rectangle in the centre of the leg
In issue 60, where you do the same to the other leg, these 2 holes are plugged, but the 2 adjacent to the metal shoulder detail are left open

Who’s one is correct??

Thanks
Well spin my nipple-nuts & send me to Alaska

Im upto issue 61, in that we get 2 d shaped plugs that go in the 2nd leg near the side details. I also still have 2 holes on the 1st leg in the recessed rectangle yet to be filled, but i also have some plugs 'spare' that as yet dont seem to have been instructed to fit there is either a reason for this, i have missed someting too, or theure used and plugged later in the build. Its had me scratching my head today

As said already above all the blanking plugs will be used to fill the appropriate holes when needed in the instructions. If you wish use the spare plugs to fill the holes but beware that they may need removing at a later stage.

Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Thing is though, as mentioned, issue 61 comes with D shaped plugs to fit the D shaped holes. But for the previous leg, issue 38 instructs is to use round plugs in the same D shaped holes. These clearly don’t fit properly. Looks like issue 38 had a mistake to me.

If you look in the official build issue 38 notes that trimming two of the plugs to fit into the 'D' shaped holes is recommended. The plugs supplied in issue 61 are just updated versions so no trimming is required.

Ah ok, I had only looked at the magazine. I wonder what the two (so far unused) D shaped plugs with issue 46 are for then.

Well despite assurances that we’d be told to fit the shoulder plugs on the right leg later, and despite the fact it was obvious these should have been fitted earlier, the instruction never came. I’ve completed all issues and the D-shaped plugs in that leg were never fitted. Now it’s very difficult to fit the front one as access is limited. So much for waiting obediently to be told!
I also have a few other small items which were never fitted...I’ve followed the instructions really thoroughly.

If you look at the official build diary Issue 38 ten plugs are used to fill the upper leg holes including the 'D' shaped holes by trimming the plug edge as advised . This left two holes in the inner rectangular shape of the right leg to fill and you are advised in the Issue 100 official build when fitting the last plugs supplied to fill any vacant holes with plugs.
