Stage 47

Contains: Passenger seat cover, Passenger seat, Left seat hinge bracket, Right seat hinge bracket, Seat belt lock, Passenger seat base, Seat adjustment lever and assorted screws.

Align the hole in the seat adjustment lever with the hole in the passenger seat base then secure with an AP screw. Take the right seat hinge bracket, labelled with the letter R, and insert the pin into the hole in the underside of the passenger seat, placing the holes onto the posts, now fix it in place with two AP screws.

Place the left seat hinge bracket onto the underside of the passenger seat and secure it there with two AP screws. Now locate the two inner tabs on the inside of the seat cover. Carefully place the seat into the seat cover, lifting the tabs over the wall of the seat. Now tighten two CP screws into the seat cover tabs to secure the cover to the seat.

Place the passenger seat base onto the underside of the seat assembly, aligning the holes with the posts. Then tighten an AP screw into each of the holes to fix the base and seat together. Now align the hole in the seat belt lock with the hole in the left seat hinge bracket and secure the parts with a DP screw.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Contains: Headrest base 1, Headrest base 2, Headrest cover, Headrest base 3, Headrest guide and screws.

Insert the ends of the headrest guide into the grooves in headrest base 1. Now place headrest base 2 over the headrest guides and secure it to headrest base 1 with two AP screws.
Check that the headrest guide can rotate freely. Loosen the screws if it can’t.

Place headrest base 3 onto headrest base 1 then secure the two parts with two AP screws, now place the headrest cover over the headrest base, matching the orientation of both parts.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 49

Contains: Left hinge, Right hinge, Passenger seat back cover, Passenger seat back, Passenger seat back base, Headrest guide plate, Hinge rod and assorted screws.

Slide the passenger seat back into the passenger seat back cover with the tabs of the cover over the back. Then slide the headrest guide into the holes in the top of the passenger seat back. Now place the headrest guide plate over the guides aligning it with the hole in the centre of the base then secure it with an AP screw.

Align the four holes in the passenger seat back base with the four holes in the passenger seat back cover and secure with four JP screws. Now retrieve the passenger seat assembly and align the holes at the bottom of the seat back with the holes in the hinge brackets then secure the back to the seat with two AP screws.

Take the right hinge marked with an R and align it with the two holes in the side of the seat back and secure it there with two JP screws. Then align the two holes in left hinge marked L with the holes in the left passenger seat back and use two JP screws to secure it.

Insert the ends of the hinge rod into the right and left hinges. Insert one end first, and then carefully bend the rod slightly and insert the other end.

Insert the post on the underside of the seat into the large hole in the floor, positioning the ridges in the seat rails. The seat can be positioned forwards or backwards along these rails, but for now, move it back as far as possible and secure it with a KP screw from the underside.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Insert the four posts on the underside of the plate into the four holes at the rear of the centre console. Then secure the plate to the floor with four IP screws, inserted from below.

Align the three posts of the cabin floor rear with the holes at the back of the floor and secure the cabin floor rear to the floor with three HP screws.

Take the left rear seat marked with an L and insert the ridges on its underside into the slots in the cabin floor rear. Then take one of the rear seat pins and insert it through the holes in the left rear seat ridges.

Insert the ridges of the right rear seat into the slots in the cabin floor and insert the second rear seat pin through the holes in the ridges.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Fix rear seat back hinge 1 to the left arm of the left rear seat back with an LP screw. Now insert the posts on the left rear seat back cover into the corresponding holes in the left rear seat back.

Place the left rear seat back base into the rest of the assembly and use two HP screws to secure all the parts of the left rear seat back together

Contains: Right rear seat back cover, Right rear seat back, Right rear seat back base, Rear seat back hinge 2, Rear seat back hinge 3 and assorted screws.

Take rear seat back hinge 3 and secure it to the right rear seat back with an LP screw. Then secure the rear seat back hinge 2 to the other arm of the seat back with a JP screw.

Insert the posts of the right rear seat back cover into the holes in the right rear seat back. Place the right rear seat back base onto the back of the assembly and secure it there with HP screws.

Align the hole in seat back hinge 2 with the hole in the second arm of the left rear seat back and use an LP screw to secure them together, then insert the posts of the three hinges into the indicated holes in the cabin rear floor. Now secure the rear seat back with three AP screws, inserted from the underside of the cabin floor.

Lower the cabin floor assembly onto the main body, aligning the four holes of both parts. Make sure the cables and the oil hose have been moved out of the way then tighten a KM screw into each of the four holes to secure the two parts together.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Contains: Dashboard padding, Top panel, Speaker cover, Dashboard, Dashboard trim 1, Dashboard trim 2, Dashboard trim 3, Ventilation and heating controls, Glove box, Glove box lid, Glove box lid button, Ashtray cover, Ashtray, Cigarette lighters x2, Hazard warning switch, Starter button, Wiper switch, Fog lamp switch, Radio, Radio controls x2 and assorted screws.

Insert the posts of the speaker cover into the holes in the top panel and fix it in place with two AP screws. Now remove the fog lamp switch from the sprue and insert it into the indicated hole in the dashboard. Then separate the first cigarette lighter from the sprue and insert it into the hole next to the fog lamp switch.

Remove the starter button, the hazard warning switch and the second cigarette lighter from the sprue and insert the three parts into the indicated holes in dashboard trim 2. Now place dashboard trim 2 into the dashboard and secure it with an AP screw.

Detach the wiper switch from the sprue and insert it into the end hole of dashboard trim 1. Next, insert the glove box lid button into the hole in the glove box lid and secure it with a BP screw inserted from the other side.

Insert the posts of the glove box lid into the corresponding holes in the dashboard. Now fit dashboard trim 3 at the end of the dashboard and secure it with an AP screw. Add dashboard trim 1 to the assembly and secure it with two AP screws. The glove box lid should be able to open and close.

Remove the two radio controls from the sprue and insert them into the two holes in the radio. Then place the post on the back of the radio into the hole in dashboard trim 1 and fix it in place with an AP screw. Now place the ventilation and heating controls in position on dashboard trim 1 and secure with an AP screw.

Turn the dashboard assembly over and align the holes at the sides of the glove box with the corresponding holes in the dashboard and fix the glove box to the assembly with two AP screws. Now fit the ashtray cover into the space in the centre of the dashboard so that the posts at the side rest in the depressions in the top plate.

Align the holes in the ashtray with the corresponding holes in the dashboard so that the sides are over the posts of the ashtray cover and use two AP screws to secure it.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Contains: Instrument housing, Fuel and engine oil gauge, Oil pressure and temperature gauge, Rev counter, Speedometer, Clock, Steering wheel, Steering column shaft, Steering wheel centre, Steering column levers x2, Steering column upper, Steering column lower, Steering column guide and assorted screws.

Position the instrument housing with the raised lip at the top. Take the fuel and engine oil gauge, the oil pressure and temperature gauge, the rev counter, the speedometer, and the clock. Remove each one from the strip and stick it inside its corresponding circle in the instrument housing. Make sure that the numbers on them are the right way up.

Locate the headlight switch (green/green cables), the horn sound switch (blue/blue cables) and the instrument lights (red/white cables) and unplug them from the main body. Now insert the steering column shaft into the steering column upper, then place the headlight switch and the horn sound switch into the recesses on either side of the column.

Insert the ends of the two steering column levers into the space between the switches and the steering column upper. Move the switch cables into the slot next to the steering column. Then place the steering column lower over the assembly and secure it there with two AP screws. Carefully slide the steering column shaft out.

Take the steering column assembly and insert the ends of the cables through the large hole in the dashboard. Then align the two side holes with the corresponding holes in the dashboard and secure with two AP screws. Now fit the back of the instrument housing into the dashboard, aligning the holes of both parts and fix it there with two AP screws.

Place the steering column guide onto the posts on the dashboard above and below the steering column assembly, with the flat side facing out. Pull the cables to one side, then fix the guide into place with two AP screws.

Insert the steering column shaft through the guide and column. Then place the steering wheel onto the end of the shaft and secure it there with a BM screw. Now place the steering wheel centre over the hole and posts on the wheel.

Align the four holes in the dashboard padding with the corresponding holes in the dashboard and secure with four AP screws. Now align the tab holes in the top panel with the three holes in the dashboard padding and dashboard and fix it in place with three AP screws. Make sure that the three projecting parts of the instrument housing rest in the three notches in the dashboard padding.

Lightly press the five LEDs of the instrument lighting into the holes in the back of the instrument housing.

Pack 7 is now complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.
