Hi. I'm new to building the Victory (although I have already finished Artesania's La Pinta so not completely new to ship building). Can anyone recommend a good wood filler to use? Not huge holes but it is incredibly irritating to my OCD to have thin gaps in places! (I'll be doing the painted version of the model btw!). Thanks and I look forward to visiting the forum during the build!

I am not sure it matters too much, I just picked up one in a local hardware shop in Greece which is popular. Make sure you get one that is pine or light pine rather than white and it should match in well with the wood colour we use.

"Ronseal multi-purpose wood filler" is available in 100g tubes and in different wood colour types. Easy to sand, is flexible and won't fall out.

Brilliant - thank you, I shall order some in. I'm sure there will be a few other questions as I get going!
