Stage 65

Contains: Fuel tank, Left mounting plate, Right mounting plate, Fuel tank sender unit cable and assorted screws.

Insert the thicker end of the fuel tank sender unit cable into the indicated hole in the fuel tank positioning the other end into the groove at the corner of the tank. Now fit the front of the fuel tank into the circular recess in the front body section, then lower the rear into place.

Hold the fuel tank in place and turn the assembly over then secure the tank with two HP screws. Now take the left mounting plate marked L and insert the pin on the underside into the hole in the fuel tank. Then align the hole in the plate with the corresponding hole in the front body section and secure with a BM screw.

Now fit the right mounting plate in the same way on the on the right-hand side of the fuel tank and secure it with another BM screw.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 66

Contains: Windscreen washer reservoir, Bonnet lock 1, Bonnet lock 2, Plugs x2, Brake fluid reservoir, Fuel tank filler pipe eyelet, Fuel tank filler pipe and assorted screws.

Place the windscreen washer reservoir inside the front of the front body section and secure it there with two AP screws. Now place bonnet lock 2 into the groove in the centre of the front section of the body with the shorter end facing inwards. Hold bonnet lock 2 in place and turn the assembly over then place bonnet lock 1 over it and secure it with two MM screws.

Turn the front body section over and press the two plugs into the indicated holes. Now insert the end of the fuel tank filler pipe into the fuel filler pipe eyelet up to the raised ring around the pipe. Then insert the end of the tube with the eyelet into the large hole in the left-hand side of the front body section. Push the pipe in until the eyelet is fitted into the hole then insert the other end of the pipe into the indicated hole in the fuel tank.

Secure the brake fluid reservoir to the left-hand side of the front body section with two BM screws.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 67

Contains: Right battery box, Right battery, Right battery cover, Battery straps x2, Buckles x2, Left battery box, Left battery, Left battery cover and assorted screws.

Take one of the battery straps and pass it through the top slot of one of the two buckles. Then pass the strap back through the slot underneath. Now identify the left battery marked with an ‘L’. Insert the end of the battery strap through the slot in the battery. Making sure the buckle is in the correct position.

Pass the strap under and around the battery then insert the free end into the slot. Now place the left battery cover marked ‘L’ under the strap and on top of the left battery inserting the pin into the hole.

Holding the cover in place turn the left battery over and fix the two parts together with an IP screw. Then tighten the strap by lightly pulling on both ends. Now place the battery into the left battery case marked ‘L’ aligning the holes of both parts then use two AP screws to secure them.

Place the left battery box over the rectangular opening on the left-hand side of the front body section with the battery resting in the opening and secure the battery box with two BM screws.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 68

Contains: Spare tyre, Spare wheel

Retrieve the battery strap and the buckle from the previous stage. Pass the strap through the upper slot of the buckle and then back through the slot below. Now insert the upper end of the strap into the slot in the right battery. Making sure the position of the buckle is in the correct position.

Pass the strap under and around the battery and then insert the free end of the strap into the slot. Now take the right battery cover and place it on top of the right battery under the strap. Now turn the battery over and secure the cover with an IP screw. Then tighten the strap by pulling lightly on both ends.

Place the battery into the right battery box aligning the holes of both and use two AP screws to secure them. Now fix the right battery box over the rectangular opening on the right-hand side of the front body section with two BM screws.

Mount the spare tyre on the spare wheel.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 69

Contains: Front body section beam, VIN plate, Bonnet lock plate, Water tank cap, Water tank eyelet and assorted screws.

Press the water tank cap into the water tank neck. Then insert it into the hole on the front body section beam. Now place the bonnet lock plate over the two holes in the centre of the front body section beam and secure it with two GM screws.

Remove the backing paper from the VIN plate and stick the plate to the beam in the correct position. Then place the beam onto the front body section and secure it with two KM screws inserted from below

Fit the spare wheel into the space in front of the fuel tank.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 70

Contains: Left front wing, Tabs x2, Fuel tank door, Hinge, Fuel tank filler box and screws.

Unplug one of the two headlights (black + green) from the circuit board.

Secure the smaller half of the hinge to the fuel tank door with an AM screw. Now place the longer half of the hinge into the hole in the left front wing and secure the hinge to the inside of the wing with an AM screw.

Place the fuel tank filler box over the hinge and the door on the inside of the fender and fix in position with an AM screw. Now take the headlight (black + green) and insert the LED end into the hole in the headlight housing at the front of the wing laying the rest of the cable between the two sets of posts with the connector at the rear of the wing. Then secure the cable between the posts with the two tabs and two AM screws.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 71

Contain: Left headlight lens, Left front lights lens, Left headlight housing, Left front lights housing and assorted screws.

Place the left headlight housing into the left front wing. Then insert the headlight LED (black + green) into the central hole of the left headlight housing. Now press the left headlight lens into the left headlight housing.

Secure the left headlight housing with a JP screw from the inside of the wing, then snap the left front light lens onto the left front light housing.

Place the left front lights onto the underside of the left front wing aligning the holes in the two pieces and fix the left front lights in place using two BM screws.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Contains: Right front wing, Antenna base, Antenna, Tabs x2 and assorted screws.

Disconnect the other headlight (black + green) from the connector coming from the circuit board.

Place the antenna onto the antenna base. Now insert the antenna base into the hole in the right front wing and secure it with an FP screw.

Place the right headlight LED into the hole in the back of the right front wing headlight housing. Then pass the cable back between the two sets of posts. Now secure the cable with two tabs and two AM screws.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.
