Got a new, slightly bigger head, and now it won't heat past 203 degrees.

Original element in it.

The old head was leaking and didn't sit right on the threads

also is printer 24v or 12v 30w or 40w?? as I have ordered new elements at 40w.

Hi Ncall

Please be aware that adding any component that was not originally supplied as part of the assembly, will invalidate the printer warranty and we would be unable to provide further support.

Applying a heat-proof thread lock onto the threads should cure leakage.

I can confirm the voltage as 12v but unable to ascertain if 30 or 40w.

Hope this helps.

Andy

Was going to try a nut to lock in place, but will look for heat proof seal
