Well, here is my finished model of the UGEARS U9 Grand Prix Car. This is my very first UGEARS build, and I must say, it's been an enjoyable one. The box is only 30mm high, so as you can imagine, it is well packed. The ply sheets are brim full of parts, which come away suprisingly easy and need very little in the way of cleaning up. The full-colour pictorial instructions are very clear and concise. There are even extra parts (they call them service extras!), should they be needed. Admittedly, i did have to strip it back down again to re-grease the moving engine parts (my fault - put camsaft in wrong way , and also it fitted too tight). There ware times when building the engine that i would have killed for a bit of adhesive (not really), as it had a tendancy to want to spring apart, but overall i am glad it didn't require it. Certainly made the stripping down and re-build an absolute doddle . Be handy if the elastic bands snap as well I have tested it on our hallway floor (wood) and can confirm IT WORKS!! The engine is wound at the front, charging the 2 sets of rubber bands. It has both forward and reverse gears, and also launch control The steering works, as does the front suspension . Honestly, what's not to like about this model? From my experience, not a lot! Enjoy the pictures. Regards Gray CaptnBirdseye attached the following image(s):

Thank you all for looking in and your positive comments guys , much appreciated. It does turn into a sweet little model, and i can see many more of these appearing on this forum. If you have younger children or grandchildren, they are great to build either with them or for them, as it teaches the mechanics of what you are building. Regards Gray
