BigGrin Hi all

The build begins here, the kit review can be found in the link below:-

http://forum.model-space...spx?g=posts&t=26841

The instruction start with the construction of the two legs. All the joints have the poly fittings to make them move. Both legs were made up ready for painting so after the under coat was dry a base coat of aluminium has been sprayed on next will be the top coat and then the hydraulic hoses can be added.

More soon.

BigGrin Thanks for looking in and your comments Derek, The Maschinen Krieger series has been popular in Japan for many years based on a world war setting and includes land, underwater and moon battles and the associated vehicles. If you search google or pinterest with ' maschinen krieger' you will find lots of pictures of finished models.Cool

BigGrin Hi All

More done. The major components are now assembled, the pilot sphere has had most of its internals fitted apart from the pilots chair and pilot/astronaut. All the parts were sprayed aluminium like the leg assembly's. Had to try the the legs and guess what it balances as built without adding any weightDrool Drool Drool Drool .

More soon.

BigGrin Hi All

Another paint day but this time the top coat consisting of 95% white grey and 5% yellow mixed together. Everything was sprayed legs, main body and control globe with this colour, the seat and drive controls were painted basalt grey.

Once dry the hydraulic hoses were added to the various parts and then the legs were attached to the main body and rear of the control globe. Some weathering has been done to the inside of the cockpit. The last couple of pictures show the control sphere in position but there is more to do before final positioning.

More soon.

BigGrin Hi aLL

Had a decal fest over the last couple of days with all the decals given with the kit. Lots of little warning placards like on a real military aircraft. So with a little chipping done and the decals applied the Camel has had a clear coat of gloss to seal it all ready for some weathering.

More soon.

BigGrin Hi all

Last leg now, the pilot has been painted and given some weathering and the windscreen painted too. Once dry all was assembled and some light weathering applied to the body.

A kit I have enjoyed building and went together very well. More pictures will be in the finished build diary.
