Hi
Just a quick question regarding the mast size from issue 54. The dowel suplied in this issue is 8mm diamiter and we are ytold to use that for planking around the mast holes.
When we did the upper gun deck planking it said to use the dowel from issue 41 which is larger at 10mm diamiter, so we now have 2 different size holes in the upper gun deck and the quarter deck.
Is this correct?

Hi Foz!  The fore mast and main mast uses 10mm dowels the mizzen mast has a 8mm dowel for the mast. So use the smaller dowel on the aft hole only and the other dowel for the other two holes.
