Hi all,

Writing on here to see if anyone can help or has experienced similar issues. I`m subscribed to the Millennium Falcon build in the UK (Currently on issue 74).

I am missing issues 56 and 57 (last piece of the upper hull framework and the circuit board). Every parcel since then there's been a note to say they are out of stock. I could accept a few months delay as these are popular however still no joy.

First I contacted a representative from Model Space through Facebook asking when they were expecting more stock, I was then advised to order extra issues if I was missing some Confused. Wasn't what I asked, however after a few painful days of clarifying what I was asking I was told to contact Deagostini directly. So I have rung the C/S line several times and emailed a few times and received no response.

I have to say this is very frustrating as all I want to know is when they will be back in stock as I really can't do a whole lot on my build right now.

Has anyone else had similar issues? Or could anyone help?

Thanks (sorry for ranting) Laugh
Tomick

Can you PM your subscription ref number and your name/address details to me and I'll get c/s to investigate.

Any luck Tromano? I have been in virtually the same position as you. Still waiting on issue 57 (sourced 3 others through ebay). Customer services unresponsive in that they acknowledge the problem but cannot do anything about it.

I am informed that we're waiting on a big delivery of Falcon stock this month for subs and any spares or replacements that customers might need. Please be assured we will be sending the issues/parts you need this month. Cool

Everyone else I've spoken to has given me the run around or asked me to order extra issues instead.

Thank you for your straight forward and simple support Tomick, much appreciated :)

Well here is the deal. Today I get my next pack of editions, it is now May.

It reports that parts 56, 57 and 60 still unavailable - but I did get some random bits in the post this past fortnight although without a magazine telling me what to do with them (but I am resourceful!). I now have to accept that parts 81, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, and 88 are unavailable! I did get 80, 82, 91, and 94 (guess editions 89, 90, 92 and 93 were also missing but not added to my list, probably because they had run out of space on the cover letter). I guess I am supposed to do part 94 and squirt a bit of filler in for all the missing bits!!!

I am seriously beginning to question whether DeAgostini can honour the subscription bought into.

Oh yes I saw post #4 hence my post!

"We are getting a big order in this month" May 2nd.

I get my sub 2 weeks later that could not give me the next 4 parts and had to give me the 4 available editions over a 14 part span!

Or are you saying that to subscribe we must be aware that a number of parts are not going to be provided and we have to contact customer services to get the missing editions?

Would be good to know for all those poor people you are busy trying to start a subscription going right now.

If you come in late into any subscription, there is always risk of out of stock issues because we have no control over demand, for example some customers have been ordering numerous backcopies of certain issues which automatically puts pressure on availability.

Rest assured you will receive all outstanding issues; the place to raise queries with delivery or stock matters is with c/s, who should be able to provide the info you require as the forum does not have access to the availability of stock or delivery matters.

Quick (unexpected) update, I had a parcel the other day with just the pieces from issue 56 without magazine. Not complaining because I`m glad to have them now, but did strike me as odd because it was just the packet with the pieces with no magazine or letter. Few weeks until I get my next batch of magazines, wonder if I`ll get issue 56 without the bits.

Anyone else had this? Blink

(again not complaining, just puzzled me) LOL

I have recently received parts 56 and 60 after contacting customer support so worth trying that for those.
I am still awaiting parts 55 and 57 so fingers crossed they come this month. I am on issue 81-84 so have been waiting since last year for them.
Thanks for looking into the stock issues hopefully this will be the only hick up

I believe I`m up to 84 too, but at this point its very hard to tell. I received my next packet last night with the shipment page stating issues 90,94,97 and 98 were inside, however on opening issue 90 was missing and issue 90 was circled in pen on the shipment page. I can only imagine there are still stock issues.

I have made a note of the missing issue just in case because by all accounts it is marked as shipped - it just wasn't included when packing, probably stock issues.

I am going to hold off contacting customer service yet because sods law it`ll come next month. However I am getting more and more concerned, my subscription is supposed to end in September but I can see it going on for much longer with a few issues sent out here and there well into 2019!

I can appreciate there has been a bigger take up of subscriptions that was expected, but if we just had more communication from customer service to explain whats happening and regular updates then it wouldn't be a problem.

I am in a similar position! Last 4 issues for me were 80, 82, 91 and 94 (I have a complete set up to 80)!

My last experience of Deagostini was that they began to drop off sending the issues at the end of the subscription. A good dozen missing issues and in the end the only resolution was customer services. They never went back and filled the gaps and you had to pester Customer Services for the missing parts.

Well customer services came through and I have now received 55 and 57!!!

However latest subscription they sent 82,94,97 and 98

81,83,84,85,86 and 87 are now out of stock :-(

They’re also showing 55,56,57 and 60 as out of stock And still needing to be supplied to me . Which they already sorted and I have them . I contacted customer support to have them update my account unfortunately they can’t stop these now duplicate issues so they’ll be sent and I’ll be charged for them again !!!!
Which also means some other subscribers may miss out on those issues needlessly.

I'm also waiting on 2 missing issues, 86 and 87.
I've contacted c/s twice in the last month without replyThe last reply I managed to get from c/s was over 4 months ago when they said they would be sent as soon as stock was available.

I've asked for a stock update as a delivery was due end May/June

It maybe worth contacting c/s by telephone.

In Australia, Bissett magazine is the supplier for the subscibtions and i get the same response ive got for the past 8 months (Waiting on stock).

Any chance of the stock actually arriving, as i get a bad feeling this is not going to resolven and im going to be stuck with a $2000.00 Dud.
