Many thanks for the kind words chaps. Well, the rear wheels are now on. Fronts are just fitted but not yet fixed. Centre spinners and Dunlop decals still to add on all 4. Beginning to get there now - roof and screens next. Roy roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Many thanks as always you chaps. I've now cast, painted and fitted the wheel spinners - Dunlop decals still to add. Fuel filler cap sorted and a new roof made. I'm a lot happier with this one as it's a far better fit around the rear, even just lying loose in place. It's had a good few coats of paint and when it's fully dry - probably tomorrow - I'll start fiddling with the screens and look at screwing it down. On we go... roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Well chaps. Really on the home stretch now. The roof is fitted - you might notice in the lower pictures I've altered the shape of the door opening as somehow, I had traced the outline incorrectly so the opening didn't lean back as it should. Roof screwed down and stripes now added but a bit of paint touch-up needed here and there. Rear rubber seal and screen seals now also fitted. Still a good day's work to go to finish... Thank you everyone for all the support and very kind comments.
Just as a small follow on from this one, another E Type lightweight is in the planning stages. I'm very tempted to have a go at one of the streamlined ones - a major bit of bodywork needed for that though.
We shall see...
