Hi guys. i know some people were interested in decals for hamiltons helmet, or having a helmet made up. some of you may have heard of sean mills, a very skilled guy who makes figures. i have bought a few from him before and the quality is amazing. he told me he can do a sheet of helmet decals for £10, or a helmet for £25 (not including the price of postage) he is based in marbella, but from my past experience, the postage rates were very reasonable. i know he has done 1:8 figures but cant remember how much they were, and im waiting for him to get back to me. check out his website http://www.seanmillsmotorracingfigurines.com/
if you contact him, mention the forum

Hi,I have tried to place an order for a Hamilton Helmet and have just received the following Email from Sean and he has asked me to pass it on.
"You cannot order at the moment, i have had a lot asking for this from your forum. So i will make a decal up but I have lots of orders to get through will take me a week and i will do it and contact all as i dont normally sell in kit form and need to revise decal if you could pass this on that would be great." Regards Sean..

Hi Danny, No I've not seen any either, just hanging fire for a few more months and will see what turns up, if I come across anything I will let you know. If all else fails, I will buy a 1/8 helmet of any driver (the cheapest I can find) which is closest in design, then strip it down and use 'Milliput' or similar with plastic card to mould the correct shape, sand until it looks right then respray and decal. Kev

Hey guys, Today I got the Lewis Hamilton 1:8 scale helmet supplied with the Japanese version and I have to say its a bit of a disappointment. The mould lines are horrible, its hollow so very light and not very pleasant to hold/feel, and its got a closed bottom to the helmet. That said, I'll be making a mold of it and enhancing my own, bit of a let down but none the less here the photos. Its probably better that I'm making a mold for you guys so that you can enhance it! Building the McLaren MP4-23
