BigGrin Thanks for the comments everyone Cool

I have now finished putting the new lights back in Cool . The Orlop deck was easy to do but the one in the hold was a git to do Glare . I couldn't run the wires in the grove I cut for them as the deck was on top but as this kit is going to be seen from the front I ran them behind the centre beam Cool .
Next up putting in the grating and ladder and then rigging the guns. I made some eye bolts and glued them to the deck. The guns where painted and rigged Cool . The blocks are cut down from ones my spares box as they were a bit to big , these were rigged to the eye bolts Cool . I wanted tables in between the guns so out with some scrap wood and made some up , once dry I made some plates a bottle of veno and mugs . A few more bits to go on the other table and rigg the guns on the other side Cool

Cheers for looking
Martyn

BigGrin Cheers for the feedback guys Cool
Making the bottle and mugs where fun jase Cool not to sure about the trenchers as these were used by the Royal Navy but perhaps the Spanish Navy used them as well as they are easy to pack away Confused
Thanks again for looking

Beautiful work going on here Martyn, lovely to watch it come along!Cool
They probably did use Trenchers although knowing the 'Hidalgos' of Spain, they probably made them eat off the deck!LOL

A great job!

BigGrin Hi all as promised a update on the ST

Started closing the outer hull to hide the wireing for the LEDs. I'm not very good at soldiering so used plastic screw connector Cool then checked to make sure the lights worked and whoopee they all work Cool
All the missing hull planks where glued in place and sanded
Next job finishing the upper gun deck . The deck was planked and the guns rigged. Once the mast is finished there will be a lot more clutter on the deck Cool
The lower mast was the next job on the list. This was made up per instructions and glued in to place. The shrouds where slipped over the mast and served to produce a loop then led down to the dead eyes to get the right length Cool . The dead eyes were glued served and rigged Cool
Next job is the upper mast and coopering the hull Cool
Thanks for following
Martyn

BigGrin Thanks for the comments Andy and Tom Cool
I had to move the ladders as they got in the way of the run in guns so turned them round 90deg Cool
I'm really relieved that the lights work after the mishap with the first ones, all I need now is a battery box Laugh
Thanks for looking
