Hi All An update of many i think, made up the other etch catapult and fixed the mount and machine gun post's, some winches and hose reel's have also been added to the deck. The 10 machine gun platforms have also been added to the deck and the last 18 armoured machine guns made up too, there were two wooden platforms that were to be added to the stern but I didn't like them so made them up from plastic card and added a couple of braces underneath. Finally for now I made up the two float planes but I think I may have placed the meatball roundels too far in on the upper wings  . Hi Andy! Your Pete's are excellently painted as usual. IJN's flat deep-green on the Pete seems beautiful and realistic. Since you have done careful work on every parts, I can easily tell two type of shielded machine guns apart. I am looking forward to seeing your next progress here. Hi Yaturo Thanks for looking in and your comments, although it would seam that I have only been sent the square top triple machine guns mounts and no rounded ones [ unless you can point out the difference]. Hi All another small update, there's lots of little things to be made up and attached and its taking time to do. The 1st pic shows the two anteni for the 15 inch guns the one on the right is as supplied the other after cleaning up, lastly I have made up the stand. Hi Andy! I'm glad that your building is going well. When I built the Yamato, I enhanced the two antennas for the 15 inch guns. They were made of soldred brass rods. Are you going to enhance them? Hi All More progress, the screws and rudders have now been fixed in place and the ship mounted on the stand. Now for a moan the transfers for the hull are delicate to say the least but after following the instructions 3 disintegrated as I took them out of the water [ 20 seconds as instructed] ready to attach to the hull so I only have 1 decal on the stern for now plus the Japanese characters for the ships name on the stern in gold are not included.
