BigGrin Now to make the 4 grills,i ussaly cut the mesh a little larger than specified in the instructions then file back to the corect dimensions.Also included is the card template i used to position the front grills,cut it to the dimensions specified the use to get the cross hair position by fliping up the bendy bit

BigGrin Hi all some more pics of the central strakes build, still a bit rough as its before any sanding has been done.Crying But a word of warning here for this section of the build in the download instructions[pg 71-72]its a compleat hash.It says take a strack [no7] and attach it from frame 6 to 12 [the wood provided isnt long enough to do this anyway],then to take the second strake [no7] and attach directly below it, ignore these instructions. Instead follow tomics official build diary and attach strakes [no7] from frame 5 to 9 then the second strake [no7] to frames 9 to 13 [not frame 6 to frame 14 as stated in the download instructions]then fill in below with strakes [no6].Had me scratching my head for a while till i read an old post [pg3] of another builder who had the same problem,hope this helps bulders who are building this now
