Hi all Issue 7 recieved and started on, the fitting of the Armour belts i made a change to the official build.I added some extra strakes between hull formers 5 through to 14 [see diagram] as the area to glue to here is very minimal,the adding of these strakes improves the glueing area by 100% Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All I decided to use filler to fill the gap at the stern which i think gives a more realistic finish to the area in question arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

I then caried on with the metal boat deck parts [ in the one pic the metal part isnt seated properly i rectified this as u can see in the next pic] and added them as per instructions,the last couple of pic,s show before and after a rough sanding to the area.More pic,s to follow on the rest of this months build[ mostly gratings and the enhancments to the radar/range finder, as always all comments are welcome regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi all Another 2 grates to add this month, as ussual i cut the mesh oversize and filed it down to the profile of the wood blocks then added the photo-etch parts supplied.I had a bonus this month 2 sets of etched parts, il save the spare for future use if needed. Also i used the mesh from previous parts that had been sent, as in the old royal navy i use up the old before i start on the new. Hi all Now to add the enhancments to the main bridge range finder these consist of photo-etch parts and 2 pieces of wire 1mm dia and 0.5 dia,here i ran into a problem half way through the bending of the 0.5 pieces the wire supplied went ping into the wild blue yonder and i couldnt find it, so in future il cut pieces into an old tin/container.So im halfway through with no wire so after a bit of searching about i found several wire ties [ the sort you get when u buy anything electrical that holds the mains flex together] after striping off the plastic these were the same diameter so used this wire to compleat the parts needed.I would like to add here aswell the white metal parts are of an extreamly hard metal [titanium added for a laugh i suspect  ] so fileing/drilling of these parts can be a task on its own.The following pics show this part of the build and as ussual all coments are welcome Regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
