Finally made some slow progress... Finished the rear wing with the Marlboro decals. I think it looks nice, (but don't look too closely!) finished both front break, rotors. I used the tamiya panel line accent color on the break pads and the cooler. I think it worked well. More to come! ManDan attached the following image(s):

Ok! Christmas out of the way! As usual got distracted by work, family, and holidays, etc... but finally found some time to make some progress! The only 'upgrades' that I am making are the Marlboro decals and i got the Japanese Senna figure for the cockpit. I'm sure i could get down a rabbit hole of modifications, but I'm afraid i don't have the chops to make some of them work. I was planning on looking through some of the aftermarket vendors to see if there was something i could handle. The build has been going along pretty well. The only thing (so far) that has been a pain has been the radiator hoses. From the first one, when i tried to use a toothpick to widen the end, the toothpick tip broke off in the hose and was a pain to fish out. When i finally did and attempted to seat it on the stub, that broke off as well. So I'm trying to glue it into place, but it doesn't look awesome. So for the subsequent hoses, i got a metal dental pick to widen the opening. I've learned that if I let it sit on the pick for at least a day it widens it very well. The advantage that the picks are double-sided is that i can do a couple hoses at a time. Anyway, made some progress on that, the front suspension, the rear uprights/wheel hubs, and the gear box. I like getting into the fiddly bits, but i remember reading on here somewhere that there was an error in the instructions regarding hoses, anyone remember that? I am going to try and do some research on here and see if i can find it. I really do appreciate all of your comments! It helps me feel like I'm doing well! ManDan attached the following image(s):
