confused about P127 adding planks # 6 Options

Hi Alan
can you explain the instructions for page 127 part 9 I understand parts 7 & 8 but lost on part 9 tapering the plank where do the plank go and also the bow plank still needs to be bent, why does #9 say the plank does not need to be bent
what area of the model is it saying that the curve now is very shallow are the
instructions talking about the bow, will defiantly need help here before I start

no need to explain the last question I understand it now but would like to know the best way to measure off 1 or 2 MM from the end holding it in place to
measure is very difficult to do unless I temporary nail it in place to mark it

Hi Ronald, there is nothing wrong with pinning in place temporarily or you can us clamps. Jase has suggested using tape which is also a useful idea. The instructions do say 1 or 2mm overhang, the main thing is the plank must go past the last frame.

will try it I know that the 1 or 2mm is not critical as long it goes
pass the last bulk head thanks again will try to send photo's once the first set of gun port holes are cut out
