Hi Alan
I was able to mark the planks #6 around 1 or 2MM now I need your help
with tapering the planks since I do not own the particular ruler you used
in the video or as used in the instructions I do have the 15mm ruler but it does not show 130 but 13mm instead before I taper it I need to know do I mark the plank at 13mm

The ruler shown in the instructions is marked out in millimetres, the ruler you probably have will be marked out in centimetres. 130mm is 13cm so you need to mark the start of your taper at 13cm....

BigGrin BigGrin No problem. You could convert by dividing the centimetre measurment by 2.54 which would give you the size in inches, so 13cm divided by 2.54 would work out at 5.11 inches.

was thinking would it be easier to use an
X-acto knife to cut the taper rather then
sanding the taper just a thought

I'd sand the taper, gives greater accuracy and a lot neater.....

I got mine from here:

https://www.cornwallmode...og/measuring_tools.html

I would imagine you could find a US supplier for this item, perhaps doing an internet search produce results for you.....

Hi Alan
I was wondering when the instructions say to taper the # 6 plank by 1.5mm
over 130mm which side do I taper do I sand the side to reach the 1.5mm or sand 1.5mm away to get a 3.5mm taper
