Watched the first one last week, was a very informative program. Boeing were weeks from going under because of a fault on the Jumbo.
Built from scratch - drawing board to first delivery within a few years and was only meant to be a stop gap aircraft because of Concorde.


Missed it tonight will catch up.
On the bench

Boeing couldn't play in the sandbox with their SST, and they didn't want anybody else to have similar either. When that became a defacto supposition, they finally allowed Concorde to fly into the US provided it maintained only subsonic speeds in US airspace.
