Your link goes nowhere Jase and although a nice looking ship it's just not well known enough for a part work.
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

But as a Partwork to develop, the sums would not add up and you can’t go by Airfix plastic kit sales of yesteryear as an indicator of popularity today.

The kit is no longer sold by Airfix in its online shop [although there are old examples on fleabay] and no indication of it coming back in there 'New for 2018' listing thus proving even as a kit its dead in the water.

Bit too much like the SOTS for me to have as a partwork. Same shipbuilder as well actually, Phineas Pett.

I think the sos comparison is a fair point But if you apply the 'mass appeal logic to wooden ships then you suddenly realise that Dead would have very little if anything left to go at. you cannot tell me that the two Russian ships that deag offer are more popular and well known subjects. A lot of people by a model because its eye catching or different from the norm, which I accept Prince may not be just think if Deag apply your view of Model appeal they will soon runout of ship subjects

In fact the two russian ships are developed for the Russian market and you simply cannot spend thousands on developing such as HMS Prince just because UK ship titles are becoming thin on the ground.

Partworks are developed for home markets then sometimes offered into other markets where a test proves successful, HMS Prince would not be viable in any market outside the UK and even in the UK it’s not what you would term as being a mainstream seller hence why it’s development cost is not viable., and the fact is that there are higher profile ships such as HMS Warrior, SS Great Britain and HMS Trincomalee which is Britain’s oldest historic fighting ship still afloat that are further up the pecking order.
