Anybody having troubles with issue 84 top arm alignment, what AM I doing wrong

Check the arms are being fitted to the correct side and that there lining up ok,look at the picture in the instructions to verify the linkages are in the correct position before screwing in place. Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Sounds like the problem i had. Check the lever attached to the clutch housing. When the motor is attached to the body panel the cluch lever could be at one of two angles - one is correct the other leads to the top arm being loose when closed. The end of the clutch lever attached to the linkage for top arm should be closest to the body panel when the arms are closed. 2bob attached the following image(s):

The other thing that needs to be done is make sure the linkage arms are the correct way round, one is longer (see fitting the arms, section 1,page 12) Darren
