Pack 1 arrived and in a nice Model Space box so well protected.

Parts appear to be good quality and I would not expect anything else.

Not a lot to do except fit the tank badges and join the tank parts together.

Instructions say quite specifically use the Philips screw driver however, screw type "A" is a slot head, doesn't matter because there is no choice of screw to use but later on when we have more screws I hope this will be sorted out. It would have been better to have a cross head screw as the fixing is in a recess.

Not moaning but worth pointing out.

Now up to stage three.

This is a large model but very detailed, assembly was straight forward and instructions very clear once I downloaded on my wife's MacBook Air as problem with iMac, details in site problem forum.

One or Two holes needed clearing to accept screws but otherwise ok.

Hi Everyone,

Pack 4,

Exhaust components, a little like the metal puzzles we had as children but a lot heavier.
I found that the Lambda probes were a too tight a fit and wouldn't stay fully home, so I scraped the finish off the locating pin which allowed it to go fully home but then required adhesive but they are looking better that way.
Worth checking which way around the springs look best as there are differences in the angles of the loops, I felt happier with adhesive on the spring plate pins as I'm not sure about access later in the build should one become loose.

The head and cover is simple as is the dashboard.

Pack 5 arrived a little late but no problem.

Parts are up to usual standard and only slight adjustment to the small bracket that slides into end of radiator where some flashing required removing to enable a nice fit.

The air box parts are stored until required later.
