Cheers guys for the nice comments. Had couple of days doing laminate flooring and now the wife wants repainting of living and dining room. I wish I didn't take a couple of days off now haha.

Here are a few pics of the railing installed on one side.

Lovely work Chris

I know what it's like when house work has to get in the way of modelling, I have been working through a list myself the last couple of weeks while juggling nights Crying

BigGrin Hi Cris

The decks are starting to look very busy now and great work, its amazing to me to see how decks became tidyer as the caliber of guns went up and the realiseation that deck furniture would literally be blasted away by a full broadside.

For instance the blast from the Yamato's guns could strip the clothes and skin off a crew man. the deck of the Yamato is positivley naked when you compare it to the hoods deck.

Fabulous work as always Chris and nice to see one of these Hachette Hoods being finished - very cool build, well done. Cool Cool

If you don't finish by Christmas, don't worry about it Chris, you wouldn't want to rush it and spoil such a nice model at the last minute would you? Better to just take your time and get it right I think? ThumpUp

Hi guys, Been a long time since this one has seen my bench. I'm hoping to finish this one this year. Its been going since 2011 and is gathering dust, I really need to complete it before embarking on another big build so a little a week should get this one done. This model has been through 3 house moves so hopefully no missing parts too.

It's currently at issue 139 out of 140. But 140 is equivalent to 4 issues in length.
I have installed all the railings round the prow, the chain for the anchors and added some steps. I've also done some touching up of the ship.

I hope to add more pictures over the next day or so when I get chance to do so as my picture bench is currently in use.
