Having been stored since 1994 its a fair bet that it will have to take many steps back before they can go forward again. The AN-124`s have to be serviced on a very regular basis due to their age and the payloads they carry. In a recent docu on SKY they found hundreds of defects on a 124 as they check it down to component level even removing the flight equipment and having it tested to original spec to make sure that when it flies again its in "perfect" condition. The people who look after and fly these Antanov`s are like a real family in their own right and they love their work. Think I would too. A Youtube Doc. If you only watch the first few minutes, just listen to the stats. For example the Wright brothers first flight could have taken place in the cargo hold.
