You could also only part plank the Perspex deck so you could see through the deck into the hanger.

Hi All More progress the hull, all ladders have now been fitted along with the odd piece of furniture then all the railings were fitted. The main flight deck has been glued in place at the bow and the perspex deck has been cut out with my lecky fretsaw. In the pics the cut out deck has not been glued as yet along with the stern deck as some adjustments will be needed here and also some boats and furniture needs to be added here. More soon. Regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All A little more done the central deck has had the underneath roughed up, primed and painted underneath and along the edges where it will be visible. I have left the upper protective cover in place as its a guide to replace the various refuges and girder work removed from the four original deck pieces. Next job is to replace these pieces and then the final fitting of the stern deck so the planking can go on. More soon. Hi Tigerace Yes the plasticard inserts are enhancements that represent the rivet flanges that surround these parts on real ships, I have also some faired brass section that was used on the Yamato build but it just a little too big for this build so stuck with the supplied ali bar. Thanks for looking in and your comments. Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
