Hi, When I recieved issue 57 I checked the parts against the parts list in the mag and found that the 5 wooden strips 1.5 x 6mm , 300mm long are actually only 240mm long. I contacted Deagostini who sent out a replacement issue, only to find that these parts are also only 240mm long. At this time I assumed a misprint in the mag, but upon looking at Tomicks photo's for this issue, it would appear that his are 300mm in length. Anyone else found this, and is it going to cause a problem? Thanks

I'm not aware of this coming to light previously, the 1.5x6mm strips should indeed be 300mm long which mine were.
I'll bring this to the attention of the publisher.

That's really odd then that I have 2 issue 57's both which are short in length. I guess it's time to call deagostini again.

Hi, It looks like we have a few rogue issue 57's with incorrect lengths. If yours is one of these, please contact Customer Service for replacement parts. Of those in the office we found one slipped in, so hopefully its a select few that are incorrect. We apologise for the inconvenience. Thanks Admin

I have also found the 5 x 300mm parts to be only 240mm long. I have contacted Deagostini and they are sending replacement parts. If it ain't broke, don't fix itVictory Build Log http://modelshipworld.co...p?t=12467&highlight=

Thanks Admin for advice, customer services for dealing with problem, and most of all to Iain for pointing it out in the first place. Long way off fitting these, so would not have been aware until it came to that stage.

Same here so rang CS and lady was very helpful, new issue on it's way.
However one concern that Admin may want to pick up on was that she had no idea that there was a problem with issue 57 until I explained it to her.
She was happy to arrange a replacement issue at which point I suggested that there might be a problem with that one as well (unless DAg have identified and quarantined all the offending issues of in the batch, of course). She would have been happy to keep sending them to me until I got the correct issue.
No intermediate problem to me as I am way behind the pack but wasted cost to DAg, which will of course, be passed on to it's customers.
So it's naturally in the the customers' interest to ensure their suppliers are working efficiently and effectively.
