WOW!!!
That's great job here. It will take me ages to complete. I need to get my hands on it soon :-)
I was thinking about one thing. On this instructions you advise to lay one line following waterline and start from the kill. In my opinion finishind at least two lines (preferably three) will look better but I might be wrong :-)
Anyway, great stuff here

Excellent instructions.

All the tips are great.

Well worth waiting for.

One question
My eyesight is not as good as it was and some of the tiles are stuck together.
I am able to seperate them using a craft knife but it is taking me a long time and is rather hit and miss.
Anybody got a fast easy solution please.

Oh I see, the pictures you mean?

I've wrapped them up into a pdf if that's easier for people.

Tiling your Victory is a fabulous alternative to painting the lower hull and these copper tiles do the job very nicely. In addition, to make the task of fitting easy for all modellers, instructions are also available by referring to post #1.....Cool Cool

Hi Bill,

There are alternatives, but it involves more work.Blink Blink

You can but 4mm copper tape and cut the individual tiles, but you would also need a pounce wheel to apply the rivet marks. On a quick calculation I make it 6.3 meters, so buying 7 - 8 metres would give you plenty to play with. Also needs to be about 0.25mm thick for scale.

Told it was quick calculation. Worked out on 450 tiles not 4500 so think it should be 63 metresBlushing Blushing LOL

Pounce wheels come in different sizes and some come with interchangeable wheels of different pitch.

May be another idea if you are really desperate.
