BigGrin Hi Dave

The kit used to supply rolled brass wire that was used to make the anti mine degausing strip around the the ships hull. those can be used instead of the brass wire and will give a better look.

If you look at your side view plans there is a line above the portholes at the bow which then drops to go between the two rows of portholes. If you follow this line it goes all around the ship. Take a look at my build I replaced my wire with square plastic strip at the time I built it.

Thanks that's a great help.just had a quick look at your pictures . what a model looks great. See what you mean now about the wire. Just finishing off rear port holes then starting on sorting wire out . Again thanks for your help. Dave M
