I selfamde new pillars bracket for windscreen.

After shaping and holing i added some nails betails to simulate the bolt/rivet of bracket.

After fitting i painted in matt black.

Ieri pomeriggio ho estratto la mia scocca per andare avanti con le lavorazioni.

Ho rifatto i fari posteriori e riassumo: forati, segati, limati, plasticard posteriore, plasticard per le paratie delle parabole, verniciato in alluminio e infine chiusi.

Ho poi preso a mano il pulsante di emeregenza (credo lo spegnimento della delta) alla base del parabrezza.
Ho fatto un errore di dimenticanza ahime.
La delta che è stata usata per replicare il modello porta alla base del parabrezza due pulsanti, oppure uno è il pulsnate e l'atro è un tappo.
Sulla wrc io ho sempre e solo notato il pulsante rosso (annata 91, per gli anni precenti ho visto che era anche giallo) e mai il tappo.....me ne sono accorto troppo tardi e non ho tappato il suddeto extra foro sul modello.

Per tediarvi ulteriormente ho studiate le varie foto che avevo del campionato 91 e in rosso è cerchiato il pusante di spegnimento.
Sempre nelle foto ufficiali non si nota alcun tappo o pulsante nero extra.
Sulla replica usata come base per il modello invece si vede bene questo famigerato extra pulsante/tappo (cerchiato in giallo)

Per questo extra tappo ho cercato di risolvere in questa maniera: ho preso e spianato a livello e l'ho tappato; riverniciare il tutto troppo pericoloso....e sinceramente non ne ho molta voglia...come disse Forrest Gump dopo 3 coast to coast di corsa: " sono un pò stanchino"

Il pulsante di spegnimento invece aveva bisogno di un pò di cura: hachette ha riprodotto un funghetto nero. In realtà il pulsante ha una piastrina di alluminio romboidale e ha un corpo di alluminio cilindrico e il pulsante in plastica rossa.

Ho segato il funghetto, ho aggiunto un piolo di plasticard che mi è servito per inserire la piastrina romboidale prodotta con l'alluminio.
Ho verniciato il corpo del pulsante con il chrome silver infine dopo aver dato del bianco x2 ho poi verniciato il pulsante con il rosso opaco XF7.
Ora assomiglia già di più ad un pulsante di spegnimento.....poi vi andrà la decal E e direi che ci siamo.

Infine ho verniciato i bracci tergi con del nero semigloss e ho evidenziato con del gun metal i perni dove nella reltà si fissano i bracci tergi.
Oggi se riesco passo in officina a vedere se trovo degli oring molto piccoli, in quanto i perni dei tergi avevano un cappuccio/guarnizione di gomma.

Before to fit seats a finally to close the bosyshell I'm doing the final detail checking.
i selfmade the floor ring for safety belt.
I fit battery cover on my Martini and ass some missing bolts.
FInally i've checked the seat bealt that are too short. The yellow lines is to show the position of seat, now i'm thinking to remade them.

New strips like in references pics to fix the extra light for night round.

Add the extra rivets to font and rear bumper as in the references pics

Add the PE bolts on headlight cover

Finally add the windshield brackets and the emergency button

I finished (i hope) the last details on my bodyshell

I made the first wheatering test (post race) for my martini. I think will be the right way. I'll wait to fit all decals and then i'll do the wheatering job.

Some big update in these past 4 holiday days.

I covered the skid plate with kevlar (delta martini) and carbon (delta test.

My friend ,that is a big delta fan and have a big knowledge of ths wrc car, tell me that in Abarth usedcarbon or kevlar depending on avaibility.

I repainted the front bumper grill. Out of box are black and this is wrong. The real delta have this grill color matched with body. So i paint white for my Martini adn red for the Delta test

A little reshape on front structur. I must do it to right fit the front bumper and create the space for futur cooling duct for front brake.

FInal carbon work on inside the skid plate.
