Thx all, I am in the process of gearing up.

Tools, paints, glues, decals, miniature clamps, hoses, etc...

I will post the link here of my future build thread and will start with pictures of the box, unpacking and a overview of all tools.


Its been like + 10 years ago since I did a scale build, so my tools aren't up to date :)

Meanwhile I am looking and saving all relevant pictures of all members build diaries here so I have a reference.
Thats 3 pages of threads :)
Luckely not everyone was as detailed or extensive in their diary build up :)
The biggest and most detailed of all, I saved for last: Maurizio67 :)


I also think I will get the book that some of the more detailed builders are talking about....

I have said for myself I will not go into detail on parts that are not seen or shown once completed.
For example, the outside of the brake system, I will just follow the kit.
Same for the clutch.

I am however gonna try to pick up the Marlboro decals, the Museum Collection decals for the monocoque, and tires.
And try and follow Jim's ECU/electronics detailed build.

Still not sure what to do with Senna himself, find and spend big on the figure or not.


First I want to have all my tools and stuff in before I purchase the full kit.
I expect to start somewhere in december or january...can't wait :)
