Do you want to build my one for me lol!! I'm a newbie to model building and am struggling quite a bit, can you tell me what the best glue to use is? I have 4 cats 2 of them just sleep and the other 2 are kittens so just annoy me when I'm doing it, can I borrow yours haha

BigGrin Hi there!

Welcome to this exciting build mate.

I would first suggest that you take your time....there is NO rush and you will have a beautiful and HUGE model at the end of your build.

The glue I am using is VITALBOND CA Thick Glue that I bought from my local model shop.

Many people are using Wilko plastic glue in the GREEN tube, but I find that a bit too runnyCrying

The important thing is that you use VERY tiny drops on a cocktail stick.
If you are having problems with the screws....dip them in a drop of washing up liquid, it works wonders!!!
I would also suggest you get a small set of Screwdrivers with a 00 one in there...there are plenty on ebay!BigGrin

The one they supply you with only Hobbits can useLOL LOL LOL LOL

Have fun and good luck!

I have been using super glue and it's very strong but doesn't leave a great finish because it spreads quite a lot when you put pressure on it!!
I am up to issue 38 I think!! How do you do the decals?

Hi mate, Welcome.I was using super glue to start with but i found it left vapour marks whilst drying on nearby surfaces.Asked for advice & was told to try Wilkinson hard plastic glue.Didn't think it would be any better but thought what the hell & gave it a go.Glad i did, it worked a treat.Bonds as quick as super glue but leaves no marks. As for decals they are ptetty easy to use.Put them in warm (not hot) water for around 20 seconds & then slide them onto the surface with something that won't damage them. You'll get around a minute before they start to set, which is enough time to get them in the right place.Start with the small ones first & get confident then try the larger ones.Hope this helps.Stuart

Hi, this post isn't related to this build, but normal model kits you buy from model shops what's the best way to paint them as I've done a couple and the paint doesn't look too great as there's a lot of paintbrush marks left? Any help would be great
