This is my entry for the "Last Year of the Panavia Tornado" comp.
I don't usually build aircraft, but needed something other than armored vehicles to do, so I thought I would give this a shot.
I will be using the Revel kit and showing it in flight over the dessert.

If you know my ways of building then you will not be surprised that I have started by not following the instructions, by-passed the ejector seats and gone straight to the cockpit tub and front fuselage!LOL Reasons for this are it will be easier to mask off the cockpit when painting the full fuselage, its easy to add the seats last.
Everything is dry fitted at the moment so I can see how well the front halves fit and adjust where needed to get the best fit without lots of filler and sanding.
Next up will be priming all the parts.BigGrin

Looking good Nem, I'm installing the seats last too. Makes masking off easier later.

Nice start Daran and totally agree regards leaving the 'bang seats' out until later, much easier that way.

Is that a raised panel line I can see on the side of the nose, below the cockpit?

Its a location line for the in flight refueling arm assembly to fit, once in place the line is not noticable.
