Man he took his time in the sun
Had a dream to understand
A single grain of sand
He gave birth to poetry
But one day will cease to be
Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

Always surprises/disappoints me to see so many US-originated shows and vehicles have amazing stuff that's not released in the US! Would have loved the 1:32 F-14D, and now this. I imagine if there's ever an AirWolf or a Miami Vice Testarossa, they too will be Germany first, maybe the UK, but never the US. :(

It is both ironic and frustrating to me being a fan of Knight Rider since its premier that I cannot purchase probably the best model of a car designed in the United States, built in the United States, for a United States television show, produced by a United States studio...simply because I live in the United States. When you've got a customer (or several of them) with money wanting to buy one of your products, the wrong decision for sales growth is deny the purchase. So sadly, all I can do here is hope DeAgostini USA picks up the kit, or wait/hope that parts show up on eBay like other DeAgostini models have previously. (Although having an official U.S. release of this U.S. car would be much more convenient for the accompanying booklets being in English.)

DeAgostini - Please offer the Knight Rider kit in the U.S., where a fan base exists to the point of businesses offering parts and accessories for building full-size K.I.T.T. replica cars.

Been another year and no news yet on this kit of a U.S. car from a U.S. television show being available for sale within the U.S.

Come on, Model Space! We want to buy it!!!
