Three very nice 'Meng' kits you have there Mick. It'll be a lot of work knowing how well detailed their kits are but it should be a very nice diorama when it's finished - I'll look forward to watching it develop. Cool ThumpUp

Hi made a small start on this by doing some chassis the tank and truck started.there is a jig on the frets to keep the chassis square and strait while you glue the cross members in. Had to tape it to table to keep it flat though. And got some figures and paint, cheers mick.

Hi bit more done to tank top put on and etch grills and mud flaps.the rear done the grills need fitting together as it's impossible separate as per instructions, you can't get either one past the other otherwise.side skirts made, and half of one track,at 5 parts per link and 81 links to one track,by time cleaned parts up and got them off sprues, took 5 hrs to do half of one track. Cheers mick.BigGrin

Nice work Mick, looking good and you certainly have my sympathy assembling those tracks link by link! I have been building Tamiya's 1:35 Sherman M4A3E8 'Easy Eight' on and off over the last couple of months and using 'Fruil' metal tracks. It takes blooming ages just to do just half a track as you rightly say, but worth the effort I think?

Well done, keep up the good work Mick. Cool ThumpUp

Hi Kev ,certainly worth the effort going to make nice set of working tracks, vast improvement on the old vinyl stretch ones of the old days, though these covered in rubber pads ,so gonna be a pain to paint ,all adds to the fun .they do give you jig to do tracks but its useless ,no way can keep 10 pads in it and assemble without them falling out, best just to do one each side of link at a time.cheers Mick.BigGrin
