since I am on the subject of the anchors I have a couple of questions concerning the anchor set 1) I feel I will run out of the thread that acts as the band that goes around the stock, so would any one know the size and color so I can get more incase I run out. 2)is the # of wraps for the band important if so how many wraps for each band the distance between each band

Hi Ronald, 0.15mm black thread would be suitable for the banding, the number of wraps and their exact positioning on the anchor stock is not critical. Just look at the images for the anchor in stage 2 of the build, this will give you a good idea of how they look and roughly where the banding should be positioned. You can also google images of the Victory anchor for further reference material if you need it.....

I was able to do a search on the Victory's anchor since stage 2 doesn't show the anchor in my instructions but thanks anyway Alan PS was able to find the .15mm thread and ordered it

Happy to see you've managed to find the thread needed. Just for future reference, if I reply to your queries and quote a stage number then I will be referring to stage numbers as per the official build published here. Here you will see stage 2 contains the anchor set.....
