 Hi All
Decided to do a festive build this year namely the 'Winter Mute' kit from Wave. This kit was produced just for the Japanese market a couple of years back but a few always seem to slip out of Japan and lucky me I managed to get one. The kit consists of two 1/20 scale models of the Gladiator,Snowman and a santa/mechanic figure [ I think she is a girl]. The kit itself is nicely moulded with no flash at all because its a Japanes market kit all the instructions and paint detail cards are in Japanese only but the assembly pictures are easy to follow.
To go with the dio there is a cobbled street base and a pallet with oil/fuel barrels. There is also two winter paint sets and the presision snow kit for the winter effects.
Will be starting this shortly.

Started on construction the santa/mecanic figure has been assembled and undercoated and is now ready for painting. Great work Andy, Looks a great subject to do. On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

Looks like the kit has some nice crisp detail Andy, the face on the snowman looks nicely defined.

More done, The base has been sealed with grey primer and the drains and grates painted. The Gladiator has been started and the engine bay painted just bit more to add here and its ready for exterior paint. More soon.
