There are a large number of 'regulars' here and we all see what we do with models etc. What else do you do in your spare time? I've played guitar for about 50 years and currently gig with a long-time friend. We're called 2 Shades of Grey. (I think it's the hair...) Anyway - here's us rehearsing our version of Toccata by Sky. I'm the one on the left - guitar. https://www.youtube.com/...w3-3qXdqFQg&index=9
There aren't many views as it's a private channel we use for bookings etc. Let's hear about what you others get up to... Roy.

Kayak fishing and indoor rowing. was about to compete in the NZ national indoor rowing champs just gone in Nov and again at the masters games in feb until i wrecked my arm doing a partial tear of the bicep distal brachia tendon. been 4 months now and very little improvement. unfortunately kayaking is also out of the mix and upsetting not being able to head out to sea just paddling and fishing. very relaxing especially at night.... just goes to show how insignificant we are when you are sitting miles out to sea with no light pollution and a clear night. totally awesome Current builds HMS Victory Endeavour longboat

My other pass times are fishing, anything to do with motorcycles and I play bass guitar and sing in a local band called 'TAKEN' which is very busy gigging at least 2 times a month.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RivJ_n1ADuc

I used to like painting and drawing but I haven't done any for 2-3 years now, just haven't had the time! When I had the time I used to paint in oils and draw in pencil, various subjects but mostly aviation or motor racing with a bit of Wild West now and then. I am hoping to get back to it in the new year, as I'll be semi-retiring so should have more time available to do some - I hope!
Note - The Ayrton Senna drawing is only half finished as I was actually working on it whilst watching the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at the same time when sadly, Ayrton had his fatal accident. I stopped drawing it then and there and didn't have the desire to finish it after that - kind of poignant really as I feel his career was left unfinished?
Some of the photos below were taken after the artwork had been framed and therefore some may have reflections from the glass covering them?

Into my music and been producing and remixing in my spare time for over 20 years. Had jingles played on national radio, my own productions played on local radio and remixes played on internet radio. Love a bit of vinyl too and have a few hundred albums and 12"s. Well into photography; natural settings. Love the textures, shapes and colours that nature offers. Had photos published in calendars and a cook book! Dabbled in fashion design with my missus and currently we have just started our own handmade jewellery and gifts business on Etsy called Sleepy Kittens Design in our spare time. Only went live last week. We're busy making stock before we embark on our publicity, marketing and social media campaign to encourage sales. You can find our shop here: Sleepy Kittens Design - Handmade jewellery and giftsBeen doing art and drawing since the age of 5. Sold some pieces, but given more away as gifts and presents I just love spending my time being creative and when i'm not doing that, me and the missus love our camping trips and all the adventures that these bring. Happy times! Regards, Phil W. Completed projects: 1/43 scale Bedford HA van / 1/43 scale MG TD sports car Current projects: 1/48 scale U-boat [U230] Future projects: 1/148 scale railway diorama / 1/50 scale R/C Volvo F89 logging truck / 1/148 scale Thunderbirds Fireflash

Lots going on here it seems...
I know I started the thread, but I didn't mention other stuff I'm into.
Art - I was an art teacher for 15 years before going over to computers. Illustrated lots of books, calendars, greeting cards etc.
Also write books - had 2 published, one was made into a movie - Shadowland, the legend. Currently 2/3 way through another book...

This evening there was an appeal on East Midlands News for volunteers to help clear rubbish on the river soar in Loughborough. Its done from a boat where you can see the rubbish better than from the shore. I`m signed up and ready to go as I live right on the waterway. Other than that its the modelling and visiting the old WW2 airfields and museums. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"
