Stunning build Mark. Are you sure this isn't actually a full sized landing craft that you found in some abandoned shipyard? VERY REALISTIC.

I've never attempted weathering a model. Something to add to my bucket list.

Hi Mark - i was looking at this build for the first time cause i`m not so much into military builds.

Seeing your pics i first thought you were building in metal - until i realized this was plastic!!!

Incredible painting and weathering - unbelievable! So realistic!
Greetings,
Walter

Some excellent weathering skills on show here Mark. Don't think you could possibly achieve anything more realistic than that, the rust stains and paint chipping look fantastic and it's obvious that you've given a lot of thought as to wear they would be most likely to occur.

Very well done indeed, that's a cool build! Drool ThumpUp

A little more done to the craft. I have pretty much finished the weathering, just the machine guns to finish off with the ammunition and the control panels with compasses. Then it is just adding the rope to the hull.

More soon.

Finished the landing craft part of this diorama. Both machine guns have been painted and put in place as well as the fenders. The rope was soaked in tea and some oils were added to give that weathered look.

More soon.
