BigGrin Hi Andy,

Thanks to you too for the return compliment, much appreciated. It's nice to know that people are reading my build and I am glad that it helps you with yours mate, makes it all worthwhile posting it up.
I will be back on it this coming Wednesday (Issue 36) when we get the main part of the undertray/floorpan - WHOOOHOOO !! - can't wait for that big chunk of ABS !!! LOL

Cheers ... Kev. BigGrin

Yeh the floorpan looks great, cant wait I just hope that the postman doesent try to hammer it through the letter box like last mounths parcelAngry

BigGrin Luckily, my postman doesn't work behind the counter of my local newsagent, so my issues are usually pristine when I get them !!! LOL LOL

BigGrin Good stuff Andy, you are making good progress. I think the silicone oil arrives somewhere around the 2/3 completed mark.

I know it sounds a little gross, but I found that carefully rubbing saliva on the white residue, a bit at a time and then wiping it away VERY carefully (especially around the areas with the 'Bridgestone/Potenza' logos) with a clean and soft cloth actually removed the whiteness. Sounds disgusting, but it works pretty well, though you do need to be gentle and I take no responsibilty should you try it and it is a long and slow process to get it all off. I will of course still use the silicone oil when it arrives to make sure that all four tyres look exactly the same, just as a precaution.

Hi Andy,

I was just checking out your photo's. Looks good so far. Seems like model building is like riding a bike to you!

How did you go with the first section of the under tray? Impressive isn't it! Even my good friends at the newsagent were genuinely impressed. They're actually getting involved with my build as well and spend a few minutes talking about each section before I pay my money and makes tracks with the goodiesFlapper .

Keep up the good work.BigGrin
