I want to start this build by Mid Feb. In reviewing build diary it appears in the beginning the 8 rib frames are pretty fragile until one gets the hull planked. Ant tips as to how to prevent this other than just being extra careful. Also what do you consider the best wood glue and superglue to use? Did not know if an thing new over the last two years. Hi Oledad,
Yes the ribs are a little fragile but you do get a brace to put at the top of the ribs to help. Other than that its just to take extra care with them.
The glues , wood glue best is Aliphatic wood glue which is strong and is stainable if you go down the natural route. https://www.cornwallmode...l-P5524821.html#SID=478
Super glue can be any but I just use this one and have never had any problems with it and its cheap. (they do thick and thin too) https://www.amazon.co.uk...GP-STICK2/dp/B00W22F716
ChrisOn the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.
