I have been out of the modeling game for some 20 odd years. The last tall ship I built was a Mayflower kit from Italy. That was around 1995. Modeling was a LOT tougher back then. There was no You Tube, no awesome forums like Model Space and Hobby Shops the carried wooden ship kits and accessories were few and far between.

I was going through some dusty old boxes in the attic today and found my 'You Tube' from back in the day. This book was my modeling Bible. From translating the blueprints of the Mayflower from Itallian to English to tying ratlines, I learned most of what I know from this book, Ship Modeling Simplified.

Has anyone else ever used this book?
