got my case today for the jaguar e-type and i have assembled it, it makes the model look small, the case measures 77cm wide by 35cm high, it looks stupid to me, i could put a shelf half way and put another car on top, when i purchased the premium i thought the case would be tailored to the car, big mistake, last time i go premium again. Is it a Perspex case Steve. Could it be reduced in height. Maybe they are one size fits all. Disappointing after waiting so long to get it. Andy.

I received my display case yesterday. It is sent flat packed, with a black perspex base and clear perspex sides and old suitcase style corners. It looks nothing like the perspex case I was expecting from the pictures of the E Type case on the Deagostini website. This case looks cheap by comparison. After spending so much money on the model (which I think is superb) I am so dissapointed with the case. I don't think I will be using it. There are some superb ones on ebay for less than I paid for this case.

A Lesson learnt here is don't buy the premium product.

yes it is perspex, it seems flimsy to me, to try a and cut it may be tricky.

here is the case, what a waste of money, thought it would be like the one they advertised.

I'm sure if you contact C/S and send the picture to them saying you've been sent the wrong case, they will sort it out for you.

Roy.

As Roy says contact c/s. The case you have is ridiculously large for the model. It’s got to be wrong. Let us know how you get on. Andy.

Hi,
I had been waiting for display cases for the Jaguar and the Mustang. On Thursday evening I got two identical deliveries.

I had assumed that the case would be customised to the model, but clearly they are not.

I am left feeling that the generic case which sells for £50 less would have been a better fit, but to be honest I haven’t checked the sizes yet.

What do they mean “ that is the display case that is available for now”. Is it a temporary case. Not good customer relations. For the extra money for premium it looks a flimsy unit. I can understand your not happy. Andy.

Might it be worth a phone call to M/S to talk to someone who could look into it?

Just say you want the case in the premium advert, or request a 'premium' refund.
There are better cases, far cheaper on Ebay.

These are the cases I buy.
About £70, delivered.
