Hi decided I will do diary on this one so here we go issue 1
Foredeck and glue various parts to it, nice and simple, no fit issues on mine, and good quality parts,
Issue 2 the foremost twin 38cm gun referred to as Anton as German ships named there guns fore to aft as there German radio alphabet so second gun would be Bruno or Berta, third Caser, fourth Dora and so on went together well no issues at all. That's it for now, look forward to me next parts, cheers mick.BigGrin

ooh another Bismark build.I have a question. I assume the parts are prepainted? If so I wonder how they are going to hide the seams between the hull parts.

BigGrin Hi Mick,
Glad you decided to do a build diary ThumpUp As you say, all's gone together easily so far and your build is looking good.
Have you looked into upgrade kits yet? I had a browse on Ebay but nothing jumped out as being able to fit. Was hoping for metal barrels Sad

Anyway, keep up the good work and will be following with interest.

Regards
Gray

Hi for what I see of hull seams they overlap so the seams will be seen ,as to if that's right or not ,time will tell as get more hull parts ,think the outer barrels of guns are ally anyway they felt to heavy to be plastic.think going to have to get lot more of this yet ,before can decide on extra detail yet ,cheers mick.BigGrin

Here we attach a fixing to the next bit of Hull, then start on the catapults, one is shown on-board, and one extended for launch, the top bit is metal, the bottom plastic, again fit is perfect, then we get to test the recoil on the first gun, mine works well, does say you will here salvo in instructions, but as no sound board bin provided yet, it won't,cheers mick.
