Hi all

About time I made a start on this and the kit review can be found here-

Firstly the engine and gearbox are made up and I have made a start on the painting. Next it was the forward axle and wheels followed by air tanks and the rear axle assembly. There is still another central gearbox to be added along with more detail.

Hi All

More done on the chassis the mid point transfere box and there drive shafts have been added along with more winches and there drive shafts. The running boards have also been fixed along with the main crane base and storage boxes. Some etch has been added at the front along with the lights and siren. The engine has been dirtied up and the pipe work added. The last couple of pictures show the chassis with a coat of undercoat.

The first coat of olive drab has gone on plus the winches and ancillarys painted. The engine and wheels have been fitted to the chassis completing stage 1 of the build Drool

Hi all

The cab has been painted and fitted out plus the decals added, the canvas roof will be fitted permamently later. The engine hood has been fitted along with the front safty bars. At the rear the crane tower has been painted and fitted in position along with the the two spare wheels and gas cylinders, you can also see the rear deck made up and with a grey undercoat.
