 Hi all About time this dusted down and taken out of the stash. The kit has been reviewed before I will just add that mine also has the bonus stand alone turret. Extras are as follows - MK1 etch set with wood deck this also has some pre painted etch with it. Pontos detail set this set includes the screw savers that are missing from the other set. Trumpeter do not include a stand for the kit so I got hold of pontos's solid brass pedistal set. Reference books include the ANotomy of the ship and one of the newer Bismarck books out there. This book has colour Pictures of all 8 camo guises worn by Bismarck and no I wont be doing the Baltic camo but the last paint job she had before she was sunk. Great to see another Bizzy on the forum  If anyone can make a good job of it Andy, you can  The additions and books look very interesting too. I too have just received my copy of The Anatomy of the ship - The Battleship Bismarck, and have to say it looks a wealth of information and a must for anyone building this ship. Haven't seen the other book yet, being new. Following with great interest  regards Gray

Look forward to seeing this one built. I have the USS Iowa with Pontos set to do but not just yet. I am looking at Bizzy as a future purchase to my stash.

Hi all The first thing to do is to clean up the hull mould lines and then add the bow pieces and outer prop shaft housings, bilges. Then its more clean up and filling also the moulded on eyebrows and ladders were removed at this stage. After more clean up the first of the etch has been added to both sides of the hull and the prop shafts and carriers added. The three internal hull stiffeners have also been fixed in position.
