The rear lower castle has been completed 2with the adition of the paravanes and the life belt holders fixed in position the whole thing was then sprayed silver grey and the pre-painted life belts added.

Next the wooden deck was added and the whole thing glued in position on the main deck. Six large vents were then added along with the etch walkways. Cool

Looks great.I had issues with the Deck of the Arizona lifting up after application, but yours looks like it is sticking well.The detail set I had was not Pontos though.

The deck was included with the Mk1 etch set and is the Artworx brand I think. I use a plastic spatula to firm the wood deck in place even so I can get the odd lift in places.

The best practice with these wooden decks is to lay them and weight them down where possible and leave them for a couple of days. Any ifting should be ressed back down and after a few days it should stay in place.
