Hi Guys, Well after trying PVA, Super Glue (Thin, Med, Thick!) and Serious Glue. I have found that the Evo Stik Serious Glue is best! Thanks MWG . Right on with my reason to post. The Tiling is now under way and after its all done, as anyone any ideas of how to keep it nice and shiny???? As we all know copper will eventully turn very dull and then green! I thought about spraying it with a Laquer, but wondered if anybody else had any knowledge on this subject? Thanks Happy Building, Russ On the workbench: My Victory Build Diary - Victory Cross Section Build Diary - Black Pearl Build DiaryUnder the Bench: Millenium Falcon, Black Pearl x 2, Coral Victory Cross Section, De Lorean

I'm so far behind that this may be of little interest now. Rather than having a bright shinny tiled bottom, I intend to wander down to the beach and fill up my spray bottle with sea water. Then I'm going to spray the copper tiling and hopefully wait for the natural effect of copper ageing. Any comments please. ArtfulBodger Previous Build: HMS. Bounty

It will likely dull, but if its an aged verdigris effect your looking for then you'll likely be waiting a long time and would require a period of immersion rather than spray over. Verdigris effect cold patination fluids are available such as this.. http://www.jpennyltd.co....e_information.php?id=379

Thanks Ensure the tiles have been degreased before being lacquered and use a tac-cloth to remove any particles..
