Stage 50
You need the main assembly and the brake pivot with a nut and bold from parts 21. Pass the bolt through the hole in the brake pivot joint, then insert the end of the bolt into the hole in the frame. Press the pivot up against the frame with the bolt in place and secure with the nut.

Stage 51
You need the main assembly, the axle, bushing shaft, bracket, nut and a washer screw from parts 52 plus the bracket from parts 55. Place the wider hole in the bracket from parts 55, onto the correspondingly shaped end of the axle. Secure the bracket to the axle with the washer screw. Now insert the end of the axle into the tube on the back of the upright part of the frame, push the axle all the way through. Then take the bushing shaft and place it over the axle, sliding the bushing shaft all the way along the axle, through the tube.
Take the bracket from parts 52 and place it onto the end of the axle, fit and tighten the nut onto the end.

Stage 52You need the main assembly, the foot brake assembly, three bolts and the spring from parts 20. Align the holes in the foot brake plate over the matching holes in the side of the frame and secure the plate with two of the bolts. Place the linkage over the front hole in the bracket fitted in stage 51 and secure the linkage with another bolt.
Insert the hook at one end of the spring into the hole at the end of the brake pivot pin, then hook the other end of the spring into the hole in the linkage.

Stage 53You need the gearbox from stage 49, the gear pedal, linkage, cap, pin and bolts from parts 53, Pass the gear pedal cable through the gearbox and out the top, then align the corresponding posts and holes and press the two parts together. Secure the parts with the four bolts.
Insert the pin through the larger hole at the end of the linkage, then place the linkage over the post at the top of the gear pedal and insert the pin into the hole. Tighten the pin in place. Now push the cap into the hole towards the rear, as shown in step 8 of the instructions.

Stage 54You need the rear wheel from stage 33, the bearing, bushing shaft and three screws from parts 54, plus the sprocket from parts 22. Hold the rear wheel as shown in step 2 of the instructions and insert the bushing shaft through the hole in the centre. Tighten the bearing onto the end of the shaft.
Place the sprocket over the end of the shaft and align the three holes in the sprocket with those in the wheel. Insert and tighten three screws into the holes.

Stage 55You need the gearbox from stage 53, the plate, disc, sprocket, three screws and a washer screw from parts 55 plus the pulley from parts 56. Insert the pin and post on the inside of the plate into the corresponding holes in the side of the gearbox, then tighten a screw into each of the three aligned holes to secure the plate.
Place the sprocket onto the plate, then place the disc onto the sprocket. Secure the disc with the washer screw.
Insert the post on the inside of the pulley into the hole near the top of the gearbox, press the pulley into position.

Stage 56You need the chain cover, plate, bolt and nut from parts 57. The plate has two different sized holes, the smaller of which aligns with the hole in the chain cover. Insert the bolt through the smaller hole in the plate, holding the bolt in place, insert the end of it into the hole in the chain cover. Make sure the bolt is all the way in the hole and the plate is flush with the cover. Fix the nut on the end of the bolt and holding the nut in place, tighten the bolt to secure the plate to the cover.
